Poker analysis software for online cash and tournament players

Stop studying the wrong leak.

PokerForge finds the leaks in your hand histories, prices each one in bb/100 from your own results, and opens the hands behind it. So you work on what's actually costing you money.

Windows may show a "protected your PC" screen on first run. That's normal for new indie software; here's why.

Leaks · a real 773,407-hand database
PokerForge's Leaks page: 22 priced leaks cost about 14.6 bb/100 combined, and a 17.4-point gap is shown costing 2.7 bb/100 while a 32.8-point gap costs only 0.2 bb/100
Why ranking by cost matters: the smaller-looking gap costs 12.4× more, because it comes up far more often.

The problem

You have 100,000 hands and 200 stats. Which three matter?

Your database keeps growing.

Every session adds more hands and more numbers.

Your tracker shows you all of it.

VPIP, fold to 3-bet, c-bet by street and position. The numbers are all there.

Deciding what they mean is on you.

Which gap is a real leak, which is noise, and which one is costing you the most?

PokerForge starts where the stats stop.

It finds the leaks, puts a bb/100 price on each one from your own results, ranks them, and takes you straight to the hands.

How it works

From leak to hand to study, in three clicks.

  1. PokerForge flags a leak
SB facing an MP open: you fold 92.8%. GTO folds 86.4% with the same hands, and the pool folds 76.3%. Priced at −0.51 bb/100 over 12,683 hands.
  2. Click it to see the handsEvery hand where you made that decision, in one list.
  3. Open any handStep through it street by street in the replayer.
  4. Study it, then mark it doneYour Study Queue keeps the top priorities in front of you until you've worked through them.
Leak → hands → replayer

The difference

Your tracker gives you the numbers. PokerForge tells you what to fix first.

A stats-first workflow

  • Hundreds of stats, filters and reports
  • You decide which gaps are real leaks
  • You work out what each one costs
  • You choose what to study
  • You filter for the hands yourself

PokerForge

  • Finds leaks by the exact matchup, not blended across every opponent
  • Prices each one in bb/100 from your own results in that spot
  • Grades your preflop against 6-max solver ranges using the exact two cards you held
  • Ranks them into a Study Queue: three things to work on, not forty
  • One click from a leak to its hands and the replayer

What PokerForge doesn't do (yet)

  • No live HUD. Plenty of players keep their tracker for the HUD and use PokerForge for study.
  • Windows only. There's no Mac version yet.
  • Solver grading covers preflop, 6-max, 100bb cash: the opens and 3-bets you face. Postflop checks use bet-size maths, not a solver.
  • GGPoker, ACR and CoinPoker hide opponents' names in their hand histories, so villain profiles need PokerStars or iPoker hands.
What it does

Built around the questions you actually ask.

Find your leaks

Which of my leaks costs the most?

A stat that's 10 points off can cost more than one that's 30 off. It depends how often the spot comes up and what it does to your results.

  • Leaks by matchup, priced in bb/100 from your own continue-vs-fold results
  • Leaks vs GTO: every open and 3-bet you've faced, graded with the exact two cards you held
  • Postflop checks for c-bets, check-raises, floats and probes, with folds measured against the bet sizes you actually faced
Leaks vs GTO: BB vs MP open, you fold 78% where GTO folds 58%, priced at 0.54 bb/100 over 11,605 hands; SB vs MP open, 93% vs 86%, 0.51 bb/100

Know what to study

What should I work on this week?

A ranked list is only useful if you act on it.

  • Your top three priorities, one per stat, refreshed as you play
  • Study 20 hands of a leak in one click
  • Mark it studied and keep a study streak
The Study Queue: a 2-day streak, 2 of 3 studied this week, and three priorities (Fold to Steal and Steal Attempt from the SB, W$SD from the BB), each with your number, the pool's, and Study 20 Hands / Mark Studied buttons
Understand your opponents

How do I beat the regs I keep sitting with?

Stat lines don't tell you what to do against someone.

  • Your results against each regular
  • Exploit notes in plain English, each backed by example hands
  • Their preflop decisions next to a solver's, with example hands for each spot
  • Similar players, so a read on one carries over

Needs PokerStars or iPoker hands: other rooms anonymise opponents.

A villain profile: results against a tight reg over 23,859 hands, exploit notes, and GTO Exploits comparing their preflop decisions with a solver's
Find pool exploits

Where does the player pool get it wrong?

Your database also knows how the pool plays.

  • River betting lines checked against a balanced bluff-to-value ratio
  • Backed by real showdowns, with a confidence interval on each finding
  • Broken down by bet size, so you know when to deviate
Data Analysis: a betting line where the pool underbluffs against a balanced benchmark, backed by 310 showdowns
See the hands

Show me the hands that prove it.

Every number in PokerForge opens the hands behind it.

  • A replayer that steps through each street, with chips in bb and a hide-names option
  • View the full hand history and copy it to share
  • Hand lists you can sort by any column

Understand your results

Am I actually winning, or running well?

Results alone can't tell you.

  • Profit in money or bb/100 over any date range
  • Showdown vs non-showdown, and an all-in EV line
  • Rakeback as its own curve, from your deal percentage
  • Cash games and tournaments

Privacy

Your hands stay on your PC.

PokerForge is a desktop app, not a website you upload your database to. It reads the hand histories your poker client already saves and keeps everything on your own machine.

No accountInstall it and start. There's nothing to sign up for.
No uploadingYour hands are read and stored locally, never sent anywhere.
No cloud databaseThere's no copy of your hands on our side, because there's no server holding them.
Yours to keepYour database lives in your Windows user profile. Updates never touch it.

To be precise: the app only goes online when you ask it to check for updates. This website counts visits anonymously and, if you arrive from an ad, uses that ad platform's conversion tag. Full privacy policy.

Why it exists

"I play online poker, and I had the tracker and the database: hundreds of thousands of hands. What I didn't have was an answer to one question. What should I actually work on?

So I started building PokerForge for myself. It's grown into something I think other players will get the same answers from."

FAQ

Questions worth answering upfront.

Is my hand history uploaded anywhere?

No. PokerForge reads your hand-history files and stores everything in a local database on your own PC. There's no account and no cloud copy of your hands. The app only goes online when you ask it to check for updates. See the privacy policy for the full detail.

Windows showed a warning when I tried to run it. Is that safe?

Yes. That "Windows protected your PC" screen is Microsoft SmartScreen. It appears for new installers from developers who haven't bought a code-signing certificate yet, and isn't a sign of a problem with the app. Click "More info", then "Run anyway".

Windows protected your PC Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.
More info → Run anyway

What you'll see: click "More info" to reveal "Run anyway."

Which sites does it support?

PokerStars, GGPoker, Winning Network / ACR, iPoker and CoinPoker, cash games and tournaments. GGPoker, Winning Network and CoinPoker anonymise opponents in their own hand histories, so hands from those rooms feed your own stats rather than villain profiles.

Is it a PokerTracker or Hold'em Manager alternative?

For studying your database, yes. It imports the same hand histories and focuses on finding, pricing and prioritising your leaks. It doesn't have a live HUD, so many players keep their tracker for the HUD and use PokerForge for study.

How does "Leaks vs GTO" work?

Every time you faced an open or a 3-bet, PokerForge looks at the exact two cards you held and what a 6-max, 100bb solver does with them in that spot. Where you fold too much or too little, it puts a bb/100 price on the gap from your own results. A spot needs at least 20 folds and 20 continues before it's ranked, so one big pot can't top the list.

How do I get started?

Install it, point it at the folder where your poker client saves hand histories, and it imports them. The more hands you have, the more it can find and price.

What does it cost?

PokerForge is free while it's in beta. Any pricing will be announced on X and Instagram first, and your imported hands stay yours, on your PC, whatever happens.

Does it run on Mac?

Not yet. PokerForge is a Windows 10 and 11 desktop app. If you'd use a Mac version, let us know: it helps decide what comes next.

Your next leak is already in your hand history.
