PokerForge — Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-09-15
By downloading, installing, or using PokerForge ("the App"), you agree to these terms.
1. License
PokerForge is currently in early access and free to use. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the App on your own computer(s) for your own poker-study purposes.
If a paid tier is introduced later, the terms specific to it — price, billing period, and cancellation — will be presented to you at the point of purchase, and buying a subscription is what accepts them. Nothing in these terms obliges you to pay for a version of the App you already have.
You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer for resale, or use the App to build a competing product.
2. What the App does
PokerForge imports hand-history files your poker client(s) produce and computes statistics from them for your own review, after the fact. It is not a real-time assistant: it does not read the state of an active hand while you are playing it, and does not automate or suggest in-game decisions.
3. Your responsibility to check your poker site's rules
Different poker sites have different, changing policies on third-party software, including simple hand-history review tools. It is your responsibility to confirm that using PokerForge complies with the terms of service of any site whose hands you import.
We do not claim that the App is permitted on any particular site. Those policies are set by the sites themselves, change without notice, and are not something we are able to guarantee on your behalf.
4. No accuracy guarantee
Statistics are computed from the hand-history data your poker client provides. PokerForge does its best to compute these correctly, but:
- It cannot verify the accuracy of the underlying hand-history files
- Statistical definitions vary between trackers, and a number that looks "wrong" compared to another tool may simply be defined differently
- The App is provided for informational and self-study purposes only, and should not be your sole basis for any financial decision
5. No warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR OF POKERFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights given to you by consumer protection law, and nothing here affects them.
7. Refunds
The App is free during early access, so there is nothing to refund.
If a paid tier is introduced later, its refund terms will be set out at the point of purchase, and your statutory cancellation rights as a consumer will apply in addition to them.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. No notice is required.
Your license to use the App ends if you materially breach these terms — for example by redistributing it or using it to build a competing product. If that happens you must stop using the App and remove it from your computer(s).
Termination does not touch your data. Your hand histories and the database built from them are stored on your own computer, are yours, and remain there — uninstalling the App does not delete them, and we have no ability to reach them.
If you hold a paid subscription, cancelling it stops future billing and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the App changes. The current version is always the one published at https://pokerforge.app/terms/, with the date it took effect shown at the top. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring proceedings there where that law gives it to you.
11. Contact
PokerForge is operated by an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For any question about these terms, including a request for the operator's name and contact address, write to:
